Where the grass is green…
Once upon a time, there was a boy who lived in a house.
His house was a place of wonder. Of music that rocked hard. Where each guitar riff matched the beating of his heart (so drama kan?).
And this boy grew up listening to a staple of awesome rock music. Queen. Led Zeppelin. Black Sabbath.
But in this house, one band reigned supreme. No other would rock the boy. Paradise City was a place he wanted to go. Don’t Cry was something he reminded himself not to do when his mom forgot to buy him lunch. November Rain was … well, rain in November.
The band was Guns N’ Roses.
And I grew up listening to them. And some 15-20 years down the line, I met a childhood hero.
And I get reminded that sometimes, dreams do come true.

Saul Hudson (born 23 July 1965),better known by his stage name,Slash,is a British-American musician.He is the former lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses,with whom he performed and recorded between 1985 and 1996.
At age 11,Slash moved to Los Angeles with his mother while his father remained based in England.He had a rough transition to conservative Southern California.The long hair,jeans and t-shirts that he wore didn’t exactly fit with the other kids.An outsider at school,he lived a bohemian life at home.Surrounded by artistic friends of his parents,Slash grew accustomed to the moods and eccentricities of the music world.
Slash had a dream.Always.He never believe in his own dreams.In the mid-1970’s,his parents separated and he moved in with his beloved grandmother so that he could sort out his dream.Slash loves to ride bicycle motorcrossing on his BMX and he for once believe in his dream and rode with passion.He could ride without brakes! He became a professional BMX biker winning big awards that lead him to loads of money that shot him to stardom!
His dream in riding his BMX earn him his biggest money!That was his childhood dream for Slash and it came TRUE!!The grass is greener for Slash the musician, but you could also be where the grass is green…..
